For a fuller foto feature you will have to check out an Embassy Glyndwr blog, see Galwad Glyndwr for further Information. At this point I am resigning from my staff position with the Embassy, though will continue with archiving work as I will with my Alternative Nationalist Archive. Further, I am resigning altogether from all Welsh Political activity other than my back room work on publications and films for DVD and Youtube. Please note all my political blogs will be coming down over this first weekend of July and on Friday I will be closing my fb account and fb groups down as well. That's it folks, after 50 years of Patriotic Activism and at the moment none too physically well with a chest complaint along with having no faith in Welsh Nationalism has being capable of achieving Independence if as a body it cannot grasp the fact that it needs to immediately be running a sovereignty campaign to press for a referendum and not doing little other than hang on Scottish coat tails. Other than that after all his said and done Plaid Cymru is pathetic and 'Plaid Moz' a dodgy dilettante project, as for Balchder Cymru, that's become a Band Adam with a mug maker Russell running the 'Groupie' fan club and doing little else other than pose and posture waving white Eagle flags. Pack it in guys, the Welsh Resistance your not , FIN!
So, what's left 'Hawliau' WNRM well we should see what they are made of soon, I hope or maybe we will have to wait for CBRD IV down in Crachach Cardiff Bay. Only two projects of any worth out there and they are Gruff's Cymru Sofren but he needs to make that more pro - active and by next year doing something big for Dydd Sofraniaeth 21 June and thence annually. Other than that politically, I remain supportive of the Patisans Cymru of the Great Unrest but not actively other than jointly cooperating with they on producing Welsh Socialist Histories.
Whatever, see foto feature below noting it is of the Exhibition being put up, a full foto feature will be as I have said in an Embassy blog and there will also be a feature in Y Cymro this Friday. Make do with below for now.
After spending two days on above, I went into Machynlleth (why on earth did Glyndwr hold a parliament there as this town really does not deserve him). The Canolfan Crowd got a small fortune in grants and what do they do exactly other than open the doors of the centre and cannot even organise an annual Glyndwr festival? Will not be making them or any other 'Glyndwr Town' central to G660 that's for sure unless they buck up their ideas. As for G660, a Commission has been appointed at a meeting on Saturday and this 'G660 Commission will continue work on the 2013 - 2016, four year commemorative programme and keep you informed on development progress and advance. Plus future organisational meetings to which you may be invited if you can tell the commission what you might bring to the table or contribution you might make to organisational funds. Not least those making a fast buck out of the cause whilst others do most of the work and paid for out of their own pockets, kind of the worse kind of opportunism. The exhibition above kicks off G660 Initiative as will Embassy Glyndwr making available in July some super large Baneri Glyndwr.
Foto above: Gethin alone, no show from 'Moz' or anyone else to participate in a proposed annual Soap Box Nation, let alone launch a Sovereignty Campaign.
Maybe next year, pretty sad if a no again, like I said Welsh Independence what an hope! See below and note the Braich Goch at Corris now flies Baner Glyndwr, too bad the wind was not up to take a good foto as we left.
Foto below is of a tapestry in Mach Library depicting how Machynlleth got it's Market Charter from Edward I with a grovelling former Princes of Powys rep on his knees to an English King. At this point my Camera started to break down, lucky we had another and better Camera as you will see with Sian's foto feature on the Exhibition.
