RETURNING TO YR ENNYD DIFFINIOL/THE DEFINING MOMENT IN WELSH HISTORY - See Previous Post and check out Introduction in below book: A LONG, BREATHLESS MOMENT to my mind makes the Welsh Invasion of England and stand off at Woodbury Hill 1405 (Our Gettysburg maybe?) as a good example of a defining moment in Welsh History. Have yet to decide on mine, why not give some thought to yours and write something up as I am going to suggest to a publisher that a book is done on this subject for publication in 2015. Alternatively anyway, I shall set up a blog for your contributions and that means all and anyone may contribute not just the self styled 'Intellectual Establishment' of 'Planet or Anglo Welsh Review 'Usual Suspects' but you descendants of the 'People of the Pitchfork' - 'Y Gwerin Owain. You may regard this as an exercise in seeking knowledge and uderstanding of our history from a political Nationalist point of view, so go to it! At work in the City of London, a big Bank. I get everywhere man (inc Royal College of Art and Ludgate House night time deep cleaner). Just loved the job and all my work mates were great and you know the bosses and people on the dealing floors were good too, as were the secretaries and cleaners, good times in the City and drinking down Cheapside and over in Southwark.
The Globe, Southwark favourite Watering Hole. This Pub was in a Michael Caine film, think Southwark 'The Bishops Stewes' is great too, great pubs in London in history and atmosphere.

Tried loads of times but finely did it at Midnite of the Millennium outside St Pauls. Sian had gone off to work at the Millennium Dome and I was waiting for an early morning street cleaners job of work down in City Center I ain't proud, money is money and then there is the lark of it all. Anyway decided to go up to St Pauls to listen to the bells ring in the new year and as they began to chime and fireworks go off, I threw my last roll up into the gutter and pointed a finger at it and said ''Never Again'' and I haven't. That easy, maybe God intervened as I had gone to St Pauls?

Dad enjoyed his day, seeing the Millennium Stadium and going around the market like he took me when I was a kid, within six months he had died so glad I had not put the trip off.
